Now that I have your attention with the title of my post; everything in this blog post is my own point of view.
This weekend has been filled with awful news, from a Planned Parenthood in Colorado being part of a shooting spree from an anti-abortion and anti-government man, Marco Rubio ‘Ignore’ Supreme Court marriage decision because ‘God’s rules always win’ and , adult entertainer & writer Stoya* being raped by adult entertainer James Deen*. How can you not say there is not Sexual Terrorism in America, with news stories like this.

Let’s start on why I am calling this blog post Sexual Terrorism, by giving you the definition of the words.

Terrorism:
The use of violence or the threat of violence, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political goals.
This is how the FBI defines terrorism:
√ Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law
Appear intended
√ (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
√ (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
√ (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; and
√ Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.
Sorry with the vocabulary lesson, I wanted to be clear on my point of view.
Let’s start with the Planned Parenthood shooting. The photo below is of the gunman and here is the link from CNN news coverage of the shooting. At the moment, police are not really sure about his motive, other than he was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion. That still does not give him the right to shoot up a clinic, killing 3 people, 1 being a police officer. Karma will be fair with him, as law enforcement never play nice with people that kill one of their own.
He is not alone with his point of view of Planned Parenthood abortions. Every week there are protesters at every Planned Parenthood across the nation, that protest against abortions. Please note, that is not the only service they provide. As you can see from the chart below.

What people do not realized Planned Parenthood Clinics do not judge you! No matter what your nationality, background, financial status, sexual preference or illness, they will always treat you with respect as a human being. Often times it is hard to find a clinic that treats you without judgement. Especially when it comes to STD’s testing, teen pregnancy, and unplanned pregnancies. Everyone does not have the support in their home and especially when it comes to these type of life changes.
Think about that while all the presidential candidates are pledging to defund Planned Parenthood to further the political agenda. Speaking of political agenda, let’s talk about Marco Rubio.
While I honestly thought he would make a great Vice President during the 2012 Presidential Campaign, I can see now why he was not selected. His views on Marriage Equality and abortions , that they should be adhere by God Rules. Which sounds a lot like Sharia Law. Considering he is not a fan of Muslim, in a FOX News interview, he said “It’s not about closing down mosques. It’s about closing down any place — whether it’s a cafe, a diner, an internet site — any place where radicals are being inspired,” Sounds like he is thinking more like them. Just saying based on what he is saying.
The last act of Sexual Terrorism of the weekend is the rape of Adult Film Star & Writer Stoya by Adult Film Star James Deen. Just because they work in the adult film industry it does not exclude them from being rape. NO means NO! While there is several people giving their two cents that it could be false allegations. Many are also encouraging Stoya to tell her story and are standing by here side, with #StandWithStoya. To remind people the rape culture is real thing. That we do not make up these stories to get attention. If anything, it is the opposite. People do not want to relive the trauma, go through intense interrogations about what happen, why they let it happen, make them feel it was their fault for being put in that situation.
While the story is still unfolding, The Frisky has issue a post Why The Frisky Will No Longer Be Publishing James Deen’s Sex Advice Column and Something Sexual posted On Stoya, James Deen, and How to Respond to a Rape Accusation in Your Community to give you a better idea on why we should believe Stoya and how to treat survivors of sexual assault. The more people believe in the survivors the better the chances they have of getting justice.
There is my two cents worth of this weekend Sexual Terrorism in America. Everyday in America, someone, somewhere is battling some form of Sexual Terrorism. Weather it be coming out to their parents, changing from one gender to another or sexual partner preferences, someone is suffering in pain because of their life choices.
